Services for Migrant Founders & Businesses

We help you break through the barriers.

Building a business in Germany as a migrant comes with challenges that generic business advice simply does not address.

Entrepreneurs with a migrant background bring exactly what the German economy needs: global perspective, multilingual capability, international networks, and the resilience that comes from building a life across cultures.

What they often lack is not ability; it is access.

Access to the right networks. To financing that does not require ten years of German credit history. To the insider knowledge that German-born founders absorb without thinking about it.

House of Oyoko works with migrant founders and migrant-led businesses to close that gap through:

  • professional skills development,

  • business communication,

  • market readiness, and

  • direct access to financing through our MigraFounders programme.

The German market rewards credibility, relationships, and cultural fluency. For migrant founders and business owners, building all three takes more than ambition.

WHAT WE OFFER

Our support for migrant founders.

  • MigraFounders. The Programme

MigraFounders is our EU and City of Munich co-funded programme that gives entrepreneurs with a migrant background in Munich structured access to financing, financial literacy, bank partnerships, and a professional peer community. Available in 8 languages. The first cohort is open to 15 participants; free of charge.

    • Financial literacy: Understanding German banking, credit, and financing options in your language, not the institution's

    • Bank access: Direct introductions to our banking partner in München, with adapted requirements

    • Business plan development: From concept to a submission-ready business plan

    • Legal and tax basics: German business registration, tax obligations, and compliance without costly surprises

    • Professional community: A peer cohort at the same stage, plus connections to Munich's broader ecosystem

  • Founder Leadership Programme

A practical development programme for migrant founders who want to lead their teams, communicate with investors and clients, and navigate the German business ecosystem with greater confidence and strategic clarity.

  • Business Communication & Market Readiness

For founders who need to sharpen how they present themselves, their business, and their value proposition to German clients, banks, investors, and partners.

We work on pitch communication, stakeholder management, and the cultural intelligence to read and respond to German professional expectations.

  • Resilience for Founders

Building a business while navigating a new country, a new business culture, and structural barriers is extraordinarily demanding.

Our ZPP-certified resilience and stress management programmes are designed for founders operating under exactly this kind of sustained pressure.
